Sehenswertes im Bundesstaat Rio de Janeiro
paratyParaty liegt 261 km von der Hauptstadt entfernt, das besterhaltenste historische Kleinod des Bundesstaates Rio de Janeiro. Ein unter Denkmalschutz stehendes kleines Kolonialörtchen aus dem Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts, umgeben von steilen, urwaldbewachsenen Bergen, die sich ins Meer zu stürzen scheinen.

Eine zerklüftete Küste mit Hunderten von kleinen Inseln und hervorspringenden Halbinseln und dem klaren, lauwarmen Wasser der Bucht „Baia da Ilha Grande“ – so ruhig wie in einem Aquarium.
